Farewell to My Mustang After More Than 20 Memorable Years

Quite simply, one of the last photographs of my beloved Mustang before she went off to Iconic Auctioneers to be sold at the BRDC Festival.

I first had the car built more than 20 years ago, and in that time she became far more than just a competition car.

There were countless events, races, trips and memorable days along the way, but perhaps more importantly, a huge number of friendships came from owning and competing in her.

Cars like this become part of your life. You remember the circuits, the journeys, the people you met and the stories that came with every season.

After more than two decades together, watching her leave was never going to be easy.

A lot of fun, a lot of memories and a lot of very good friends.

A sad day, but what a wonderful 20-plus years it has been.
